Sinema dünyasının en prestijli ödüllerinden biri olarak kabul edilen Oscar ödülleri, pandemi nedeniyle 3 ay ertelenmişti. Adaylar ise internet üzerinden, oyuncu Priyanka Chopra ve müzisyen eşi Nick Jonas’ın sunduğu canlı bir programla duyurulmuştu.
Mank, Nomadland, Minari ve Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom filmleri, pek çok farklı kategoride Oscar’a aday.
